Colin McCahill is a Michigan based saxophonist. He studied at Oberlin Conservatory with saxophone great Gary Bartz and has been performing consistently as a sideman in Detroit and around the Midwest the past four years. His EP “Woodward Groove” marks his debut album, and also pays homage to the musical city that has accepted him. It features Hayden Cusmano on guitar, Ian Lukas on bass, and Phil Buchman on drums. Two tracks feature Roland Chandler on percussion, and Ben Lafo on Trombone.
