Teitel is a recent graduate of Michigan State University’s Jazz Studies program. Now living in New Orleans, Teitel has performed with Thornetta Davis, Karen Clark-Sheard, Larry McCray, Antwaun Stanley & Joe Dart (Vulpeck), Eric “Benny” Bloom (Lettuce), Skeeto’s Funhouse, RJ Spangler, Rodney Whitaker, Randy Gilespie, and tours nationally with Mardi Gras Indian band Cha Wa. He frequently performs at legendary New Orleans venues such as Tipitina’s, The Howlin’ Wolf and The Maple Leaf.
