]]> Trombonist Tbone Paxton is an engaging singer as evidenced by his 2017 & 2018 nominations as Outstanding Jazz Vocalist at the Detroit Music Awards. He hasbacked many touring New Orleans artists, including both Johnny Adams and Earl King, so the music of NOLA is always prominent in his performances, from trad jazz to R&B. Also, the Great American Songbook: Johnny Mercer, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington & Fats Waller. The proto R&B/swing of Louis Jordan is a part of each show. Add some gut-bucket trombone & and you have an idea what to expect from their shows.
