Bassist Michael Feinberg presents his 8th studio recording Hard Times on Fresh Sound Records. A native of Atlanta, Feinberg grew up musically in the band of trumpeter Russell Gunn. After graduating from the University of Miami in 2009 Michael moved to New York where he has become a rising star of its vibrant music scene. He has appeared with a wide array of artists like Jon Batiste, Billy Hart, Ambrose Akinmusire, Knower, Dave Liebman, Melanie Charles, and Nir Felder to name a few.
On a side note it’s my first time ever performing in Detroit home to my heroes Elvin (Pontiac) and Stevie so I’m hype!
