Vlad Tovbin’s Caravan was founded by Ukrainian born guitarist Vladimir Tovbin who then moved to United States in the 90’s and has since been one of the most entertaining band leaders in the region. Rooted in traditional Ukrainian Folk then mixed with Jazz-Manouche and American Swing, his dynamic collective of musicians brings a rich blend of these traditions together for a unique and fiery performance.
Vlad has been an active Detroit based jazz performer for many years with notable appearances as band leader on weekly basis all over the Metro-Detroit area. His current lineup consists of great cast of Detroit based musicians including – Kris Kurzawa guitar, Hayden Cusmano guitar, Igor Korokhov piano, Quentin Casanova double bass.
