Jarrod Champion is a jazz, blues, funk, soul, traditional country/folk singer and pianist. He is and has been a member of numerous musical groups in the Detroit area and has a number of his own ensembles. Jarrod has toured both nationally and internationally in his career and has had the pleasure of playing such iconic venues as Red Rocks, the Hammerstein Ballroom, the Ryman Auditorium, the Gorge in George, the Hammersmith Apollo, to name a few.
Jarrod is an active live and studio session musician and has written music for stage plays, film and video productions. He has written vast amounts of original instrumental and vocal based music out of his home studio, writes, performs and records original music under various names, and can be found in top live music establishments and recording studios in and around the city of Detroit and beyond.
