New York Jazz violist Jim Nolét and Popular brazilian singer Marcia Lopes from São Paulo, Brazil, are on tour in the USA in August of 2017 in celebration of their August release; “Arco Voz 2” . Jim and Marcia’s group, Arco Voz will play the sounds of Fado of Portugal and Brazilian Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Samba in a setting that reflects the poetry and sounds the Orixás of Brazilian-African mythology. Marcia and Jim’s sound show a reverent for many acoustic music creators of Brazil including the compositions and poetry of Vinicius De Moraes and Dorival Cayimmi’s among others.
