Samuel Chase Harris is an active bassist in the Metro Detroit jazz scene. He studied at Wayne State University under Dan Pliskow, Paul Keller and Larry Hutchinson; continuing his studies upon graduation under the tutelage of Rob Pipho and Christopher Hamlen. He has been the Saturday night house bassist at Cliff Bells for the last 4 years and is excited to be leading his own group in a fresh format exploring the works of classic and contemporary jazz alike.
