A founding member of Will Sessions, bassist Tim Shellabarger has a frequency that is woven into and born out of Detroit’s unique musical fabric. From international tours to hometown basement sessions, he has performed and collaborated with Amp Fiddler, Shigeto, Dames Brown, Dez Andres, Monica Blaire, Black Milk, Dennis Coffey, Melvin Davis, Ian Fink & Freak Press, Marcus Elliot, Phat Kat, Guilty Simpson, Elzhi, Allen Dennard, Kasan Belgrave, Hazmat, JRGotTheHiTS, Caleb Robinson & Reaching, Odu Afrobeat Orchestra.. the list goes on. Drawing influences from an array of diverse musical styles and generations, Tim takes the music to a new place with a unique approach, while still keeping rooted in his influences. Expect to hear some fiery funk & fusion while exploring deep grooves on a journey through tight musicianship and collaboration. This performance will feature original music from all the band members as well as tributes to some incredible influences.
