The DOT is comprised of Hammond Artist Justin Dillard, veteran guitarist Vinnie Roofe, and phenomenal shooting star drummer Samuel Jewell all of Chicago. All have extensive backgrounds in every genre of music possible that extend from the great avant garde jazz tenor man Fred Anderson to Carl Thomas. The music they play is called ‘GIT down’. An art form of original music composed and arranged by Justin Dillard which at its core combines everyone from organ masters Dr. Lonnie Smith and Jimmy McGriff to The Ohio Players, Ray Charles and Sly And The Family Stone. The members of The DOT all lend a piece of the puzzle that catapults Hammond Organ music to another plateau never heard before.
