Master drummer Louis Moutin and bassist Francois Moutin and bring the Moutin Factory Quintet to Detroit’s Cliff Bell’s. Following extensive international touring, including a long list of major jazz festivals, they will embark on a two-week tour of the United States and Canada. With their deep chemistry and distinctive, sprawling compositions, The Moutins have been attracting an increasingly large and enthusiastic following for years, and we’re honored to host their only New York appearance of the tour! Their second album, Deep, comes out in August 2016, so audiences can expect to hear some inspired new sounds from Moutin brothers and their excellent band.
