Join Detroit native guitarist/vocalist Ari Teitel for the release of his debut LP “Unteiteled” featuring legendary Detroiters Skeeto Valdez (drums), Paul Randolph (bass/vocals), and Philip Hale (keyboards). Teitel’s original music blends soul, funk, rock, jazz and blues while adding in choice covers which may include anything from Sly & The Family Stone and Parliament Funkadelic to Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock, to Paul Simon and Bob Dylan.
Teitel is a recent graduate of Michigan State University’s Jazz Studies program. Now living in New Orleans, Teitel has performed with Thornetta Davis, Karen Clark-Sheard, Larry McCray, Antwaun Stanley & Joe Dart (Vulpeck), Eric “Benny” Bloom (Lettuce), Skeeto’s Funhouse, RJ Spangler, Rodney Whitaker, Randy Gilespie, and tours nationally with Mardi Gras Indian band Cha Wa. He frequently performs at legendary New Orleans venues such as Tipitina’s, The Howlin’ Wolf and The Maple Leaf.
