2017 is proving Quick Trio’s busiest year yet, with the group playing monthly gigs at Toledo venues the Ye Olde Durty Bird & The Pub at The Paula Brown Shop. Also appearing regularly at NINE at Hensville, Gathered Glassblowing Studio, Cliff Bell’s and the Toledo Country Club. Past venues include the recently departed Degage Jazz Cafe, the former Treo Restaurant, and a twice-a-month four-year stand at Manhattan’s. Quick Trio played for an appreciative audience this past June for the Defiance Jazz Festival.
Quick Trio plays primarily original material in their sets. The tunes performed are each unique in their Forms and Rhythm Structures, Calypso, Mambo, Loopy Swing Drive, Space Bop, Bebop, Waltz, Weird Waltz. Social Music that swings, grooves and burns.

I felt privileged to have such an intimate seat from which to observe your trio and listen to your music. I like your CD, but even more do I like the experience of hearing you play in person.
